Talksure is a fast paced, growing Financial Services Provider offering a range of  insurance and non-insurance products for the South African market. These products include some of the country’s most recognisable brands including exclusive relationships with Tracker and a range of  other South African products.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Mangers to join our dynamic and highly specialised sales team at our vibrant call centre in Umhlanga. An Ideal candidate should have extensive experience and must be able to get up to speed quickly.

Key roles of the Sales Manager would include: 

Relationship Building:

  • To maintain and grow current and new business relationships/partnerships in alignment with contracted growth and profitability targets
  • To manage a portfolio of business through analysis, interpretation and decision-making while building effective relationships with business partners both internally and externally.
  • To reflect a professional image of Client towards suppliers and staff.
  • To support the Short Term Insurance Campaign

Management of staff:

  • Responsible for the growth and development of the employees
  • Responsible to manage and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Training and motivation of staff
  • Supervision of FAIS related activities
  • Management of compliance related tasks

Stats and Sales Targets:

  • Gather, interpret and analyse data for each channel of business
  • Apply sound Risk Management in policy level decision-making
  • Collating data and analysis of sales and financial stats
  • Conduct competitor and market intelligence analysis
  • Premium collection experience
  • Comparative selling across various brands
  • Build and understand the back end policy processes to ensure effective and efficient operation is maintained at all times


  • Short Term Insurance Qualification
  • 3 Year Degree / Diploma
  • Must meet Fit and Proper requirements (RE and FAIS compliant)

  • 3 years managerial experience in a sales environment essential
  • 2-4 years in a sales environment in the Short Term Industry
  • Experience in maintaining and growing a profitable portfolio of Commercial and Personal Insurance is essential
  • Technical insurance knowledge essential – advanced insurance and underwriting principle
  • Risk management knowledge essential
  • Senior management experience within brokerage or call centre environment with insurance background essential
