Talksure recently held its inaugural graduation ceremony at its very own training centre in Umhlanga. The ceremony was held to honour a total of 87 full-time employees and 5 part-time employees, who received certificates in various areas of study.

Talksure celebrated and crowned the academic achievements of its learners who successfully completed courses in various fields, such as Generic Management (NQF5), Sales and Customer Relations (NQF5) as well as the FAIS Short-Term Insurance (NQF4) and Basic Computing Training.

One of the values at Talksure is Continuous Improvement, and providing a platform for employees to develop and better themselves breathes life into this very value. “Being a full-time employee and studying is no easy feat. There is an ongoing struggle to balance work, studies and personal time. With all areas requiring constant attention, it illustrates the dedication and commitment of all the learners to complete their courses. I would like to congratulate all our graduates on a job well done,” said Ellen Shaw, Chief Operations Officer at Talksure.

The FAIS programme and training were provided by Damelin School of Banking and Insurance. The Generic Management and Sales and Customer Relations programmes are conducted in partnership with Felix Risk Training Consultants who are fully accredited to BankSETA and InSETA and provide the training and facilitation for the various learnership courses to the learners. “Felix Risk Training congratulates the Learners of Talksure. Ultimately the main objective of this project was accomplished and Talksure, Inseta, Bankseta and Felix Risk Training Consultants alike are proud of these individuals for achieving their qualifications,” said Bernadette Felix, Managing Member at Felix Training Consultants.

Learning and Development Executive, Magdalene Kistnan said that management applauded the efforts of all the graduates and extended their congratulants to them all for completing their courses. “Let the thirst for knowledge continue and I am certain that all of you seated here will make important contributions to Talksure and the industry,” said an optimistic Kistnan in her address to the graduates. All graduates were ecstatic as they celebrated their achievements however it was more so for two graduates, Brendan Reddy (Generic Management) and Sanetti Van Wyk (Sale and Customer Relations) who finished as Top Achievers for their respective courses.

All learners received certificates for their achievements at the graduation ceremony and they expressed their support for the progress the learnership has enabled. Talksure has already seen its next group of learners enter into various learnership programmes for 2017, and we look forward to the successes in their respective courses.
